The MK III Sensor unit is easy to install and use. The roof top sensor assembly is wireless and solar powered, allowing it to operate for many years without servicing.
The solar charged battery supply is guaranteed to provide continues operation below 60 degrees latitude. The MK III will operate for at least 60 days without sun.
The initial sensor calibrations for wind, temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
The passive solar shield for the temperature and humidity sensors are modeled on the ones designed by the National Weather Service in the USA.
All materials used in the sensor assembly and weather instruments are chosen for durability and resistance to weathering and corrosion. All of the weather station hardware is stainless steel. The station is fabricated from fiberglass and structural PVC and is ultra-violet inhibited.
The MK IIIRTN Measures:
You need at least one computer interface/logger or Multi display unit to use this sensor assembly, however, you can use as many as you like in any combination so you could have multiple displays in public areas and a data logger collecting data to your computer all with data from one sngle sensor assembly.
